Introduction

Welcome 2010! A new year and time for a new adventure! Many of my Facebook friends have been asking me to start a blog. I must admit I have been pondering the idea for some time. Although the "pressure" from others certainly encouraged it, in the end I relented out of a heart of obedience.

God has given me a gift of effective communication, coupled with the gift of encouragement. I can either squander those gifts, leaving them on the shelf or I can give them away freely. I believe in the kingdom principle you can't keep what you are not willing to give...so here goes it!

This blog will be an avenue for me to share my journey with you. I will share such things as scriptures, short devotionals, encounters, dialogue with God, songs, revelations and testimonies. In general whatever Papa is showing me I will journal about on this blog. Maybe you can glean something from it.

Before we get started I have some requests. First, this is my journey and chances are it will be very different from yours. I'm not interested in changing your opinions or beliefs and likewise I am not looking for you to change mine. Second, I'm out there...I mean way out there! I believe in a radical God who is still in the business of miracles, signs and wonders. Jesus is the Lover of my soul. I have a wild relationship with Holy Spirit and I'm seeking an even wilder one! It is from this place of intimacy that my soul sings and continues to sing. I look forward to taking you by the hand with me as I jump in His river of life. It is sure to be an adventure!

With that being said inappropriate comments will not be posted. This blog will maintain a culture of honor. What is a culture of honor? I am so glad you asked. It will be one of the many subjects we will address in the coming weeks.

So, if you are interested in knowing more about me and my relationship with Papa God stick around...heck, I'm giving you permission to read my personal thoughts, my journal so to speak. If you wish, let me know you've stopped by. But, if you prefer, remain anonymous...I like to blog stalk myself:) It is my desire to build a community here. Prayer requests are always welcome.
